Lions School Embu, P.O. Box 765, Embu, is situated within Embu Municipality, Embu West Sub-county, Embu County. The school lies at coordinates 0.538° South and 37.45° East, at an elevation of approximately 1,350 metres above sea level. Lions School Embu is a private mixed day school owned and managed by the Lions Club of Embu. Guided by the motto “Always Forward,” the school is committed to academic and moral excellence. Its mission is to provide a conducive environment in order to produce an all-round citizen, while its vision is to be a leading centre of academic excellence. The school upholds the core values of honesty, teamwork, hard work, self-discipline, and self-confidence. The school was officially established in 1987 as a nursery school. Due to growing demand and community support, the primary section was introduced in 1992, followed by the junior school in 2023 in line with Kenya’s Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC). Today, Lions School Embu has grown significantly, with a vibrant community of 943. The learners population is over 830 learners, dedicated teachers, and support staff all working together to advance the school’s vision of excellence and holistic development
